WARNING

Police forces have become aware of a fraud circulating targeting elderly and vulnerable members of the community.

Some people have received telephone calls from a caller who purports to be from a GP surgery and asks for an appointment to discuss the persons health or mobility needs. During the appointment, the older person is persuaded to buy mobility aids which are either unnecessary or inappropriate and always expensive.

If you receive a call like this, please check with your GP surgery first before agreeing to a visit.

EPS - Electronic Prescription Service

If you take your monthly prescriptions to the same chemist every time, why not speak to the pharmacist about using the EPS service?  The process is simple and will save you time.

 - Order your prescriptions in the normal way, i.e. by phone or post to the surgery, or asking the chemist to order them for you.

 - The prescription will be processed in surgery but instead of collecting the prescription from the surgery and then taking it to the chemist of your choice, you can nominate a chemist to download your prescription for you.

 - 48 hours later, collect the completed prescription from the chemist without having to come to the surgery first.

For more information on this, speak to your local pharmacist.

Online Appointment and Prescription Service

Book an appointment or prescription via:

You can now book appointments and prescriptions online via the SystmOnline webpage. Please note that you can only use online appointment/prescription booking if you have registered with the surgery and have been given a unique logon and password. An app is also available for use with android phones, which can be found once you have accessed the systmonline website

Please note as we are trialling the online appointments, only a few select appointments will be available to book in advance.  We are hoping to increase the number of appointments available this way in due course.
